Michael FutchMichael Futch is currently a first-year PhD student at the University of California, San Diego where his academic focus includes econometrics and micro and macroeconomics. Prior to entering his doctoral program, Mr. Futch held positions as a research associate at the Public Policy Institute of California and as an economist in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Economic Policy. He has worked on research projects in Guatemala and Rwanda and been a high school math teacher for the Upward Bound program in San Francisco. Mr. Futch studied at the London School of Economics, and holds an M.A. in economics and a B.A. in economics and mathematics from the University of San Francisco. |
